ஒளிக்கு மிருளுக்கு மொன்றே யிடமொன்று மேலிடிலொன்றொளிக்கு மெனினு மிருளட ராதுள் ளுயிர்க் குயிராய்த்தெளிக்கு மறிவு திகழ்ந்துள தேனுந் திரிமலத்தேகுளிக்கு முயிரருள் கூடும் படிக் கொடி கட்டினனே

Rendering: Light and darkness have one dwelling; when one prevails, the other is concealed. Yet the illuminating knowledge that stands within as the life of the soul remains untouched by darkness. Though it shines, the soul is immersed in the three impurities. I have raised the flag so that the soul may reach grace.
