You have walked ahead of your lamps
You are welcome here, and may read on. These lamps on the rounds below are not yet lit; this round will open more fully once they are:
Behind the hill
The inner path
This part of the journey is yours alone. Nothing here is checked or recorded. Take as long as you need.
Sit in silence
Sit quietly for two minutes. Hold Sambandar's picture of Tiruchengattankudi in mind: fragrant flowers, humming bees and devotees returning day after day to serve.
Rendering: Day after day they scatter fragrant flowers and offer sweet scent; the devotees stand in the proper way and serve without interruption. There, in Chengattankudi where winged bees hum, dwells at Ganapatisvaram the Lord whose throat bears the dark mark.
Read these lines silently, or chant them gently: Tirumurai 1: Sambandar's Tevaram.
Sit with this
What do I begin to notice when I attend to a temple through the words of its hymn?
