The great expositions: Sivaprakasam and Sivagnana Siddhiar set out the whole doctrine and answer its critics; and how the great sayings are read.
These are the longer, fuller books of the Sastras. Sivaprakasam arranges the doctrine for students; Sivagnana Siddhiar sets it out in full and, in its first part, examines the other schools one by one before stating the Siddhanta view. The round closes with a closer look at how words point beyond their literal sense, and how the great sayings of the Upanishads are read by Advaita and by Siddhanta.
