You are welcome here, and may read on. These lamps on the rounds below are not yet lit; this round will open more fully once they are:
The sixth circuit is complete: you have read the oldest Sastras and the first short works.
Next, the rest of Umapathi's works, and the books that carried the Sastras forward.
The circuit is not yet complete
The lotus of this round blooms when all its lamps are lit. Still to light:
Look back on this roundWhat it holds, its lamps and gems, and its inner path
The two oldest Sastras, Arulnandi's twenty verses of twenty, and Umapathi's first short works.
Tiruvundiyar and Tirukkalirruppadiyar are the oldest of the fourteen, older than Meykandar's Sivagnana Bodham. Irupa Irupathu is Arulnandi's dialogue with his guru. Vinaa Venba and Potrippahrodai are the first of Umapathi's short works: questions put to the teacher, and a hymn of praise that is also a summary of the doctrine.
These are small books. They are not easy ones. Read one verse, close the book, and let it sit in you like rice soaking before it is ground.
